16 & 12 Week Century Training Plans
Always consult with your doctor before beginning any training plan to ensure that you are in good health and able to complete the plan. These 16 and 12 week plans should be tweaked to meet individual goals and schedules. Your coach can help you determine what you need to alter since no plan is "one size fits all." The goal should be to gradually increase your training schedule, include rest and recovery days, build up to a ride that is around 85% of your goal in the final weeks and taper off your plan about a week before the event. |
